Course Overview
Aimed at empowering physical therapists with the skills to combine traditional evaluation methods with state-of-the-art diagnostic tests (Electromyography, Nerve Conduction Studies, and MSK Ultrasound Imaging), ensuring an elevated, evidence-informed approach to patient care.
Attendees will immerse themselves in manual therapy methodologies that are both elucidated and demonstrated. Emphasizing hands-on learning, the course offers extensive lab sessions where participants actively practice and hone their skills. Key focal areas include mastering manipulation/mobilization techniques and the art of soft tissue trigger point therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Diagnostic Testing Integration: Learn to integrate findings from standard physical therapy evaluations with data from Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Testing (NCS), and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging (MSKUS) for the creation of comprehensive, and specific patient treatment plans with 61% greater accuracy and effectiveness.
- Precision in Manual Therapy: Acquire advanced manual therapy techniques, specifically tailored to address pathologies and conditions as revealed by EMG, NCS, and MSKUS Testing. Gain proficiency in delivering targeted interventions that address the root cause, rather than just the symptoms.
- Spinal Manipulation Techniques: Delve into spinal manipulations, understanding when and how to employ these based on the nuanced insights gleaned from advanced diagnostic procedures.
- Specialized Soft Tissue Interventions: Harness the power of diagnostic technologies to fine-tune soft tissue treatment techniques, ensuring maximum therapeutic impact.
Course Benefits
- Evidence-Informed Practice: Bolster your clinical decision-making process by integrating advanced diagnostic technologies, ensuring treatments are backed by concrete data.
- Enhanced Patient Outcomes: With precision-guided manual therapy techniques, witness accelerated recovery and improved patient satisfaction.
