Course Description
Advanced dry needling methods with clinical integration of 25 patient cases
During this course, you will be able to become qualified for Florida and other states’ patient treatment requirements and you will be able to fill out the attestation form for the 25 cases.
Dry Needling methods and techniques of challenging muscles; needling of ligaments and tendons is covered in this course. Utilization of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging (MSKUS) for Trigger Point localization and needle guidance is demonstrated and practiced. EMG Testing for objective quantification of decrease of Spontaneous Electrical Activity of Trigger Points will be demonstrated.
Correlations and integration of Dry Needling with other manual therapy techniques are discussed.
Details
This course begins with a review of the main Dry Needling principles covered in the other courses. Then advanced Dry Needling methods and challenging muscles throughout the body are discussed and practiced until total certainty and competence are achieved.
Needling techniques for ligamentous and tendinous structures are presented and practiced. Principles of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging (MSKUS) for guiding the needle is presented. The evidence of the pathophysiology of myofascial pain is followed by demonstration and practice of Dry Needling under Ultrasound Imaging. Ultrasound needle guidance is a separate billable code!
This course also includes a demonstration of EMG testing before and after Dry Needling for objective quantification of the decrease of Spontaneous Electrical Activity of Trigger Points.
The course discusses integrations of other manual therapy techniques with Dry Needling and the creation of treatment protocols.
A small group principle for individual attention is a very important component of the course. Build now total certainty for your dry needling practice!

Course Objectives
- Review the fundamental principles of Dry Needling using “The Original Dry Needling” approach.
- Present, demonstrate, and practice Dry Needling treatment methods for challenging myofascial trigger points in muscles throughout the body.
- Present, demonstrate, and practice Dry Needling treatment methods for tendons and ligaments.
- Discuss principles of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging and EMG Testing.
- Present, demonstrate, and practice Dry Needling treatment methods under Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Guidance.
- Discuss integrative methods of other manual therapy techniques with Dry Needling and create appropriate treatment protocols.
- Treat 25 patient cases and become qualified to attest your state’s patient case requirement.
This is an essential two-day seminar with immediate clinical applications that will provide you with the Hands-On Seminars Dry Needling Certification.
The scientific background and methods taught utilize an Evidence-Based Model with solid research and Dry Needling techniques that have been tried successfully for years at an international level.
You will be able to apply the techniques in your practice immediately after the seminar. This is a promise!
Appropriate for PTs, DCs, MDs, DOs, DPMs, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Acupuncturists, and other healthcare providers whose license permits the practice of Dry Needling.
Course Pre-requisites: PT-01 Online, DN-Upper, DN-Lower
Certification Requirements: Successful completion of: PT-01 Online, DN-Upper, DN-Lower, Log of 25 Dry Needling Cases, and pass on the final exam
