Physical exams only go as far as the tests a therapist can perform. Consider the following physical therapy exams:

• Tinnel Sign – Sensitivity 23% (Kuhlman and Hennessey 1997)
• Phalen Sign – Sensitivity 51% and Specificity 76% (Kuhlman and Hennessey 1997)
